These are loans offered to micro, small and medium enterprises, for the purpose of enhancing their operations. The loan offered to a promotor falls under this category since the capacity to service the loan comes from the business owned by the entrepreneur

Business Loan

This is a working capital loan to small and medium enterprises. It is intended for working capital enhancement and business growth.

  • Loan amount ranges from Tzs. 5m to Tzs. 50m,
  • Loan tenure is from 1 months to 12 months
  • Business should have been in operation for at least 18 months

Business Emergency Loan

An emergency loan for existing business loan customer, with good track record.

The product is intended for adhoc requirements whilst still serving an existing loan

  • The loan amount ranges between Tzs. 1m upto 25% of the principle loan
  • Collateral that will be used will be the same as the one used in primary loan
  • The repayment period ranges from 1 to 6 months

Asset-Financing (Gari Loan)

This loan product caters to businesses. Its primary purpose is to finance the purchase of motor vehicles from either local or international dealers

  • Its purpose is to enable enterprises/ entrepreneurs acquire additional assets

to enhance their business operations

  • Loan amount ranges from Tzs. 10m to Tzs. 50m
  • Customer is required to contribute at least 35% of the total cost

Insurance Premium Financing

A loan product offered to enterprises/ entrepreneurs to enable them pay for insurance cover in lump-sum through AEL Insurance.

  • Customer is required to contribute at least 25% of the premium
  • Maximum repayment period is 6 months

Contract/Invoice Financing

A loan product designed to bridge a working capital gap faced when performing a contract/ invoice.

  • Financing is up to 50% of the invoice
  • Invoice should be from a strong off-taker, with good payment record
  • Repayment mode is arranged to match the invoice payment terms
  • Loan amount ranges from Tzs. 10m to Tzs. 30m
  • Loan tenure to be within Contract/Invoice period, but not exceeding 12 months

CNG Loan

  • Loan amount, Minimum is Tzs. 3,000,000/= and Maximum is Tzs. 10,000,000/=
  • The facility will be provided to car owners only, Employee or Business
  • The vehicle installed with the system will be the primary collateral

School Loan (Boresha Shule)

  • Short term financing to enable owners improve the school’s buildings,surroundings and bridge the working capital gap.
  • Loan Amount, Minimum is Tzs. 10,000,000/= and Maximum for first time borrower is Tzs. 30,000,0000/=
  • Grace period of maximum of 2 (two) months will be allowed
